A couple of my niece from a recent sunny day. C&C appreciated.

Just got to love the second of these Conor. Superbly timed and composed
image. I’d perhaps pull the toning back closer to black and white. The one
distraction in this image is the sunflower behind her head. Otherwise gorgeous…

Cheers Robert. Thanks for pointing that out, I’ll remove it when I print this as you are right, it is a distraction.

second shot is lovely, first one, the lighting is really great, the position of your niece in the framelets it down slightly.

Thanks Simon. I agree, her position could have been better, but it was the only angle i could get at the time. There are ugly distractions to either side and her being four meant that there was no way she was gonna pose or stay still so i took what i could get. :-)

Two fantastic shots Conor. My preference would be for the first one…though the second one is more animated and charming, I prefer the processing on the first…love the contrasting colours and her positioning in the frame. Also she looks like somebody has peed her off big time and they are about to get what for…

Cheers Robbie.Yeah , she has a fiery little temper on her for a four year old and it was me who was in for it !!

The second shot is a well caught moment and hopefully will be hanging on a wall.
    Well done Conor.

Thanks Raven, I actually have a before and after shot to go along with the one of her blowing the feather, and thanks to the genius that is Lightrooms printing module , printing has become and absolute doddle. I have a relatively old printer but each shot comes out exactly how i see it on the monitor. Once you set Lightroom up , printing becomes so easy and you have so much control. Can’t recommend it enough. What used to be a nightmare has become a pure joy as each print reveals itself.
