I have 2 weeks off work, so I have started going through my old RAW files to see if I can improve any of my photos.
This is the new version. Do you think it is an improvement on my original conversion from 4 years ago?

in the newer versions, just an opinion of course! :)Its always interesting how ones taste and style of processing changes over time, also how different the results can be…
in image A there are elements of the first (new) that i prefer – the light in the foreground is somewhat softer and i like the area of blue sky reflected on the left. there are also elements in the clouds which have greater detail in the first but also in the second (original). i like the strong yellow light in the second so its a tough call… but i go with One here.
in image B i think i prefer the original. the blue tone in the shadow and the harshness of the white in the sand don’t really work for me – the grains look much bigger and rougher whereas the second is softer and more subtle with a lot more mood.
definitely prefer the original in the 1st shot , as already mentioned there is a very strong cast in the updated version. in the 2nd i think somewhere between the 2 would be perfect
