Is it just me..or do those big huge flashing ads on the postimage.org hosting site annoy the hell out of anyone else?
They seem to have got flashier and and bigger recently as well.
It really puts me off clicking a link to a shot when I see it. Some of the shots are almost obliterated by the ads above and below it.
There are plenty of free hosting websites that don’t have such intrusive ads..so it beats me why people don’t try them.
I know they are the default site for PI..but as Mark said in a previous post, it’s not mandatory and people are encouraged to find alternatives.
Just my rant for the week… :D

8)Yeah I am with ye there Robbie…. one shot i looked at recently was ruined with big flashing red banners above and below it…! Yeah its free etc etc but there are alternatives…

Have to agree with both of you there. In fact I stopped clicking on PostImage thumbnails months ago. A shame really, because it means missing some fine images and having to critique them on the basis of their thumbnail. And like you say, there are plenty better alternatives out there (both free and paid).
