this is american guitarist preston reed
shot on 400iso b+w film with my nikon f75
the scan aint great,im using an all in one scanner/printer,etc
maybe santa will bring me a nice film scanner :roll:
anyone into guitars should check him out
anyway what ye reckon folks

I like it. Shame that the focus didn’t land on the face, and were it hand printed, a bit of dodging on the artist’s right arm and left hand to bring the highlights down a bit would only further enhance a very nice image. I might try to see what I could do to minimize the grain/noise (make it blacker/cleaner) in the bottom right corner. I like the light & shadow detail on the face. For a 400 print film you got a pretty good result.

thanks stasber,it was a new camera and the first time i had used it,
and the first time i had done a live gig, so i was happy enough
as you said, shame about the focus
i have more on the neg,ill get em scanned and if there decent ill post em
