Print size question

I’m wondering can I get an A3 print from a 3mb jpeg file size from a Canon 1000D. It says in the manual I can, but I’m not entirely convinced. Can anyone tell me what the biggest size I can print is? Thanks.

depends on the picture to tell you the truth, if its a little soft, it will look a lot more soft large
