Printing on rigid mounts

I need to make large prints on a rigid material (e.g cardboard, polyboard or something similar) for an exhibition. Can anyone suggest what is the best mounting/printing material. Thanks

the best way to do it

is print it first and then mount it on the substrate

a very popular one with artists for exhibitions is diabond

    another is foamalux

if you are not putting glass in a frame in front of it, i would also suggest you laminate the print, this will give you both protection from marking and also some UV protection.

lamination does mean the print needs to be done or certain papers as not all papers are suitable

    hope this helps

Thanks a million. I am going to see a printer here in france (where the expo will take place) tomorrow and I just wanted to have an idea of some materials that I could discuss with them.
