Printing Problems

Hope someone can give me a pointer as to what I am doing wrong here. Story starts with Windows XP, CS4, a calibrated monitor and an Epson 1290. Great A3 prints good enough for National competitions.
Then I upgraded to Vista which worked well as an OS apart from being unable to get decent prints, they were always really dark and very very green. I kind of lost interest at that.

However I thought I would try again so now on Windows 7 monitor still calibrated with a Spyder 2 and using CS5 I still get the dark green prints

Settings are Colour Management Document Adobe RGB
    Colour Handling Photoshop Manages Colour
Printer Profile IGSGP9_EP1290.icc to match the paper I am using
    Rendering Intent Relative Colorimatic
    Black Point Compensation Ticked

Printer has the No Colour management button pressed.

But I still get the dark and green print

What am doing wrong because I can’t see anything so any help would be gratefully appreciated

    Hi Neelly,

Does this issue only occur when printing from Photoshop or do you get the same issues when printing from any other application ?

Are you using the latest printer drivers ?

Have you tried to change from Relative Colormetric to Perceptual ?

    Regards

Prints OK from DPP so I am not sure what is going on. Must be in the settings with Photoshop. Have tried using the generic Epson 1290 profile and it is much better though still not perfect. I have no idea why the specific profile should be so bad.
