Do you have an inkjet printer to print out all those scenic photos that you take? To find the cheapest ink cartridges in Ireland go to [removed]

I would strongly recommend visiting this site for the cheapest Epson and Canon inkjet printer cartridges in Ireland. Any cheaper suppliers would be welcome.

What kind of ink is used in these cartridges?
Have they been tested for gas fading and other longevity tests?
I would want to be sure that my landscape prints last just as long as OEM inks, especially when they are hanging on someone else’s wall…

i had a quick look on their site, the cartridges they sell exceed the original manufacturer’s (OEM) volume levels so i believe that the ink in the cartridges are very similar to the originals.

    Johno,
Thanks for that, but it was not volume levels I was asking about. I was wondering how long the prints will last once they are hanging on a wall.
The site says “High volume longer lasting ink cartridges”. They probably mean the cartridges last longer because they have more ink.
However, I’m interested in whether the resulting prints will last several decades without fading, or whether they will fade after a few months.

    Jonno,

They’re selling inks compatible with photo printers which isn’t at all the same as selling Epson ink (I print on an R2400).
I wouldn’t trust a print to a non-OEM ink, how long is it going to last, ie will it fade after 5yrs.

There is much more to ink that the amount you get…

Definately agree with Mark…stay away from compatible inks if you want to keep your injet printer in top condition. Also your warrenty is void if it breaks down and you return it to Epson or Canon if using compatible inks…if you want to see you photos printed at their very best use the branded inks…it will save your blocked nozzles and lots of other problems in the long run…believe me I know as I have a Epson 2800 and 3800 and once lost a Canon A3 printer because of clogged heads and general scum in the printer because I tried the cheaper option.
