Problems with Adobe Bridge CS3

Hopefully someone can help.
I’m using Adobe Bridge and Photoshop CS3 and am finding lately that, in Bridge, when I delete an image it doesn’t disappear from the screen until I refresh by hitting F5. I do my editing in Photoshop but also find that when I save an edited image it doesn’t immediately update in Bridge – again I have to hit F5 for the new edited image to appear in Bridge.
I haven’t changed any setting recently in either Bridge or Photoshop.
Anybody any ideas what could be causing this and how I can fix it.Thanks,

Could possibly point to errors in the cache. Read the following and purge the cache. http://www.deke.com/content/photoshop-vs-adobe-bridge-beware-cache-cache-must-die and sure let us know how you get on. :)
