The second round of the Prodrift Championship was at Fermoy Mart at the weekend. I only took a few photos during the super lap and practise, as I’m giving video a go this year with a 550D. But I still end up having to take a few photos :-)

Thanks, The next round will be in Punchestown on the 11th and 12th of June. There will also be two rounds in Mondello, not sure of the dates, should be on prodriftseries.com

Nice shots. You’ve probably mentioned this in your other threads but what settings do you use? These look really strong contrast, yet suitable. :)

Thanks for the comments. I was using a Canon 70-200mm F2.8 for all those, setting wise had it on Tv mode. The set on flickr is http://www.flickr.com/photos/ontherack/sets/72157626719314545/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; and you should be able to see the exif there.

I usually set the shutter speed below 1/160s, #1 is 1/60s #2 is 1/30s #3 1/80s #4 1/125s. The lens is also pretty much wide open for these, #4 is 1/25s and f2.8, as I was doing video I had an ND4 and polarizer on the lens so just left those on as I was only taking a few photos, think its adds to it, but slows down the cameras focus.
