Nice work as always Paddy, nice to see the “other” shots as well as the drifting. Tells more of a story.

Stunning stuff again Paddy. I really like the processing in these. It looks like you are dragging your shutter as much as you possibly can – really nice- feels like both you and the drifter are on the limit. There is a wonderful design quality to some of the compositions – particularly 9. Plus you’ve really nailed the atmosphere in the docu shots. Looking forward to your next set. Are these destined for any mags/reports?

    Cheers guys :)

Most of these, if not all, were shot on a 300mm F4 L prime and a 24-105 F4 L zoom. Was trying to get the shutters below 1/40th, got one or two succesful ones at 1/15 but the wind and weather weren’t on my side all weekend. On Saturday evening the wind was so strong that when the lense hood was out on the 300, it was lifting the lense up the way when trying to shoot !

These should be appearing in the next issue of Modified Motors and I will have more for you guys during the week from the Sunday events plus a very, very special feature car ;)

Great photos, Paddy. Love the one of Bon Bon. Pity I wasn’t able to go due to my exams, but they are finished now, so must just get the car and the camera ready for Rosegreen.

    Paddy,

Great shots mate. The portraits definitely add to the series. Pin sharp too down at 1/40! I haven’t ventured that far yet, around 1/60, 1/80 for me before things start to get a bit messy! :P
