Anyway i need some good advice, i have a canon 450d and mostly shoot products for the cosmetic industry (lipstick to handbags)
Many thanks

PitmaticMemberNow I am no expert but if you are always going to be photographing smallish things that might have a reflective surface a light tent would be a good idea as it would diffuse the light and prevent the room from showing up in the reflections
Just a thought :)
Oh and I meant to say thats cheap flash gear you appear to get a lot for your money but is it any good? discuss?
gerParticipantI dont want to limit myself to the size of a light tent, but the products will fit on an A0 size drawing table.
I’m not sure which style of lighting is better suited to my needs continous or flash. My Mac is near by and i will be viewing and shooting from screen, so the continous light source seems to make more sense to me.
But this is what i am trying to assertain.I am on quite a tight budget so no point in discussing products above 250 euro.
thanks

wirepicParticipantJust a note on your third item here. They are based in Hong Kong so you may incur duty and VAT when bringing it in. Items from UK or other parts of EU won’t incur this. I don’t know what the rate of duty is on this kind of stuff but VAT will add another 21%.
