I can’t really tell from the shot what is actually going on.
Most of the people have their backs to the camera so we
cannot see any facial expressions that might have given
an indication of the attitude of the protestors.
Maybe I’m being a little harsh but this is my honest opinion.
You make me seriously think of the problem of my photo. And I exactly get what you mean. Yes, it really can’t tell anything by looking at this photo though it seems to be a protest. In fact, I took a few shots there and quite like this one due to its composition of two garda standing a bit further away from the protestors. That’s why I choose this one to post here. But I forget that for those people didn’t come to the scene, it would be very hard to know what’s going on here. Thanks again for your opinion, John.
Briefly, the protest is to defend public services and jobs as the government proposes to cut funding on various fields.
