Push Processing.

Could someone talk me through push processing. Wash wanting to try Tri-x 400 at 1600 or 3200 but not sure how to do it?
Anyone have experience with this?Cheers,
Sinead.A general guidline is to add 30% to the normal development time for each stop you push the film by.

I agree with Thorsten. I’ve used the Massive Dev Chart to push Tri-x 400 to 1600 with Rodinal using numbers given by the dev chart with very satisfactory results.
Some film and developer combinations respond better to pushing than others. Efke 50 (a single layer emulsion film) responds brilliantly up to 3 stops of push.
