Wonder can anyone help me out –
I was on other forum website (different topic, would never use different photography site!)
This question was posted, would be interested to hear what you guys think.My advice was if you are happy just ask for the image to taken down. I will pass on another advice I get here.
Hi Im just wondering if anyone has ever had anything similar happen ? 4yrs ago my mother brought HER OWN photo to a photographer to get it enlarged and put on to canvas , and this saturday whilst walking thru a shopping centre she was stopped in her tracks as she seen a 20×16 framed photo HER photo of MY kids on display, there was also the same photo made into a hard back frame , neither my mother or myself have ever been asked or given consent to use this photo, any suggestions??

I didn’t make myself at all clear….
This is a question I was asked on another website, in fact I have never meet this person. I copied and pasted her question.
The picture of the children was taken by her mother and given to the photographer to be made into a canvas.(Personally, I would flattered that the photographer thought the image was strong enough use, then I would go in and aks for cheque :D )
I think the really question here is how much compo could come from this?
