Rainbow over Irish Sea.

Nice timing Fergie, especially getting the boat heading through the
rainbow!Well captured but two things I’d suggest. Firstly I think the composition would be improved if you were to crop a little off the bottom… maybe just above the seagull. Or, if you want to keep that bit of foreground, at least clone out the diagonal strip of sand and the bird.
Secondly, and forgive me if I’m wrong, but I’m guessing your post processing has deliberately left the area inside/underneath the rainbow looking unnaturaly light compared to the main expanse of sky. Granted it makes it look almost like a gateway or whatever but for me it just makes the scene look unrealistic.
Sorry, but I think this image could be re-processed with more tlc and result in a cracking shot.

As always, this is just my personal opinion so……Yeah Mark it could do with some PP but it’s pretty much straight out of the camera. Just a bit of contrast and resharpened but no photoshopping in or around the rainbow. I’m not so good with the post processing but I will give it a go to see how it turns out.
