    One from Saturday evening.

I was surprised to find myself the only one using the good light on Church Bay.
I would have posted this earlier but couldn’t get onto PI all day yesterday.
I created three exposures from the RAW tried 3 different methods to combine the exposures
(Photoshop graduated masks, Paint Shop Pro and Photomatix) and liked the HDR best.

Very nice shot, great colours and foreground interest.

now I must say that I am not a big fan of HDR, but either this one is well done, or I am getting use to them, I do like it!!!

I shot some frames with the analog camera, but I wasn’t really fascinated by the light..

    Very nice Hauke,

You’ve done a great job of this processing. I love the layering going on here.

You must have achieved the only sunset shot of the trip.
Sadly I missed the little bit of colour in the evening as I was too busy bathing my poor, sore legs after cycling all day in the rain.

I love the cliffs and the colors, not too sure about the foreground, it looks a bit messy.. maybe a small crop there?

    Good job Hauke

I like the soft water effect and the colours in the sky are great
We were at the far end of the island and got a few shots of the sunset
but i was thinking more of a few pints rather than composition…….

There’s already a big crop there. I had a lot more foreground originally.

As I scrolled down this picture I thought that the foreground didn’t suit the lovely lyrical quality of the sea.
