Red Kite

Had a really great day out today at the Red Kite feeding station in Wales, must have
been 60 plus Kites and a few Buzzards, absolutely stunning birds! Camera shake was
down to pure excitement :lol:
Is it worth going there? I’ve had a plan to go there whenever I get a chance but work plans always interfere. It looks amazing on the website and on TV. Would a 400mm lens be enough?
Can’t wait to see them flying over the Wicklow Mountains.
Well worth it Aidan! Must have been about 60 of them fantastic sight, it is just a little
hut in a field and he charges ?2.50 entrance, (the best ?2.50 I have ever spent!)
400mm would be maybe too much as they are literally flying past the hut, if a buzzard shows up
they go mad and put on a great display.
