Red Legs

Its a red legged partridge, probably released by a local gun club, certainly an unusual visitor to a bird table.
They were actually released by Bord Na Mona for some reason. We had four for a while, one especially became quite habituated and used to sit and chuckle on the kitchen window until it got fed. Tasted quite nice as well.
Only kidding about the taste honest, although I have eaten them in the past and they are delicious
