This is a bit of an experiment…wanted to get the lighthouse beams and stars together.. didn’t work out so well but it was my first attempt at something like this, focusing is hard..Gonna be trying more of these once the clocks go back..

Any comments and constructive criticism welcome as always….

The first shot would be my pick, nice colours, the second has something funny
going on in the sky and is a bit too blue, the black and white version is nicer and
easier on the eye. The fourth is a nice scene but again a bit too much blue, the
last shot at first glance looks great, I dont know if you have photoshopped a few
more stars in but there seems to be a bit of a repeat pattern going on in spots and
you probably wouldnt see any stars where the lighthouse beam is, but a great attempt
and I am probably being a bit picky. :) so well done overall!

    Thanks for the comments Shutterbug

I know what you mean about the blue hue in the second shot (or is it pink?), I’m just to lazy to get around to re-doing the white balance on it! I don’t see what you mean about something funny going on in the sky, unless it’s the spray jumping up that you are seeing?

The star shot is shown as it was on the night. I didnt add any extrea stars or anything like that. The only thing I did to the stars was to clone out a small flare on the middle LHS. Other than that that’s just the way there were showing in the sky..

Agree with Shutter, some small changes on the wB or the saturaiton will do wonders.
Really liking the last shot, well done.
