    Trev, the whole image appears soft or out of focus, is the image a large crop? Also I would not include the feeder as it distracts from the image, a natural perch looks much better. :D

    Massive crop Dave, I was home for lunch and spotted the redpoles in the garden, They have never being here before. I just grabbed the camera and took a few shots from the back door.
    My 250mm lens just isn’t enough to get close to them and once I walked outside they were gone.
    I agree a natural perch would be better and I might get that yet. I’ve another feeder at the back of the garden in a tree I might hide in the shed and see if I can get them :D

    This is the way to get them.
    They coming seldom to garden.
    This winter have just one redpoll, coming nearly everyday.
    The shed is my hide 1,in the garden. :D
