How close were you to the subject and where abouts was the flash placed?

Thanks all for the kind comments.

I was less than 4m from the subjects. The flash was sitting on top of an oil tank roughly level with the feeder at a right angle. The flash head was angled upwards so was not pointing directly at the subjects. I also raised the little white flash bounce card so the flash was indirect.
