remotes for canon 400D

Does anybody knows if the canon RC5 is compatible with the 400D
And what other (maybe better) remotes works with that camera.
Thanks PeterThe RC-5 works with the 400D. It’s OK but not great, it often fails to trigger the camera.
You could pick up a cheap cable release on 7DayShop.
I have an RC1 for sale. It’s a wireless remote, operates bulb without having to hold down the button, and has aI 2s sec delay as well. l sold my 400D over a year ago and found the remote at the bottom of a drawer last week! Unfortunately I threw out the box because I thought it was lost.

Thanks Pete, But no. I just read a few words on it on the internet and people were’t too happy with them.

I picked up my cable and remote release from Ebay. Both work fine.

I believe I got the cable release cheaper and both of them on a different shop, but you get the idea. You get what you pay for; I don’t have much to spend but these both represent great value for money and I have no complaints. 7dayshop that nfl fan recommended would probably deliver faster and almost as cheap, so might be worth exploring.
