Just some of mine from Saturday night…looking
forward to Wednesday nights match. First one taken with
Canon 15mm fisheye.Noel Browne.
jb7Participantvery good, celebration ones are great-
and the last one too, for different reasons-I think the first might have been better from the steps,
might have kept it more absolutely symmetrical-BallymanParticipantYou must have been sitting beside me!
Put your second last one in the middle of these two and we have a matching set!!
5faytheParticipantHi Noel,
These images kinda speak for themselves which I suppose
is as good a compliment I can give to sports photos.#1 is very well controlled and shows off the stadium well.
The last one is my favourite showing off the different emotions that
a goal engenders.I see the despair of the irish defenders.
Shay Given’s body language is priceless.
I see the irish supporters looking on in disbelief some with hands on head.
Then I see the italian players and mentors having a party.
Good photo.Well done.
John.
Well done.
brownieParticipantThank for all the comments…first shot with the fisheye was with Ken Suttons
5D and I only brought it along and used it for the first time…an e-bay purchase
last week…jb7, you are right as I headed over to the left a bit when I took it,
will try to get a better shot tomorrow night.
Ballyman, lots of the shots taken, even in the papers look pretty similar to ours.
Will you be there Wednesday ?Noel Browne.
whyulittleMemberI found the fisheye one is hard to get just right, because the roof isn’t perfectly symmetrical.

How do you get a photographer pass for Croker by the way, I am guessing you have to pay?

No, you don’t have to pay. Normally you have to be working for the press (some paper or organisation), or you need to be accredited through the FAI.
