excellent shots! Judging by angle you were very close from them. Did they really rescue someone?
They were only training here, landing the “dope on a rope” on a boat deck.

There’s a nice record of the occasion. Not many appreciate the size of these things. I’ve been out with the Wexford RNLI on 2 occasions with these, 1 exercise, 1 rescue and these are like a bungalow above you. The downdraft itself literally prevents you from lifting your head up. It’s great fun though apart from the rescue/recovery aspect.

Brilliant shots love them. I remember seeing this helicopter on display in Salthill earlier this year. Beautiful machine.
Love them all but the third is the best as its all in one and the blur on the rotors is magic what shutter speed was that?
