A little bit of fun this afternoon

I think this is more an abstract image.

I like it, well spotted. The only thing I can criticise is that
the tree is too dark, if it was brighter the greens would stand out
more to give the image more impact.

I’ve tried to brighten the tree as much as possible, and replaced image

It was the cloud and the tree which I saw first, then thought of the orange/red sun shade to ‘complete’ it

Interesting Robert.

I like this idea although maybe more of the tree would balance it a bit better. That might also give the cloud a bit of room to breath at the bottom. It is a strong abstract image nevertheless.

Thanks Andy; unfortunately, there is a house in the way of the tree, otherwise I’d have more tree — I
did have to crop a tiny bit though.

If I knew how to move this to abstract,I would.

Thanks for the comments lads.

This is the original idea; I was attracted by the cloud, and how it seemed similar in outline to the tree;
by the time I got the camera, the cloud had moved a bit, and had lost some of its shape; there is a house
immediately below the tree, so more tree ain’t possible. And I didn’t see the contrail until I looked at the pic
on the computer monitor.
