It is not the greatest of shots. Conditions on the days were slightly windy so the subject was bobbing around a bit on the grass. Hence the subject out of plane. This was taken with a Fuji S7000. I have taken subsequent Ringlet shots with the DSLR. I’ll have a root for them and post shortly.

I like it MJ as it shows the lovely marking on the wings ,rather then the head facing you.Taken with the 7000?? I just won a Finepix s9600 in a photo competition and looking at your pic .I am considering bringing it on holidays next year instead of a big bag of lenses :lol: .Looks like a very vesitile camera

As far as I know the 9600 was voted travel camera of the year recently. If you want to make it super versitile get the wide angle and telephoto extenders if they are available. I have them for the 7000.
