First portrait picture from my new camera. Taken in the Morrison Hotel in Dublin, during Josephs print exchange.

Ilford Delta 3200 film. Scan of a darkroom print.

    C&C welcome…

It almost looks like an ad for fresh ground Italian coffee,
(must be the stylish new glasses) until you see what’s littering the table-

    Good portrait Sinead-
I bet Rob didn’t even know you were taking it-

Ken – Thank you very much. Glad you like it.
It might have been my round…

Joseph – Tee hee… A stylish Irish stout ad then?
I’m not sure if he knew I was taking it, he knew I was pointing it at him, but I was faffing…

I’m really sorry I didn’t take more pictures when we were there, that was my intention, but,
I tend to go a bit wobbly at the thought of asking to take portraits.

Some of you boys just looked like you would have loved to have your picture taken,
I should have took advantage of that…

    Cheers again both, much appreciated.

That’s the great thing about waist level finders, its not as obvious your taking someones pic…

Really like this Sinead. One of the best shots of Rob I’ve seen. Makes him seem like one of those Dot.com millionaire types..all casual..but meaning business

Look forward to seeing some more from your new baby.

Very good Sinead, though I do tend to look better facing the other way
in a thick fog, or in the dark, or both…

I did know you were taking it, and this is my feeble attempt to look
windswept and interesting. Didn’t quite nail that one…

Beautiful camera, and I want one now too. I expected a lot more noise from
3200, but this looks terrific (excepting the subject). Lots of lovely detail
there. We’ll be expecting lots more portraits from you now…

Martin – Yeah, I noticed that. Some people don’t even notice it’s there at all.

Robbie – Thank you! I’m really looking forward to doing some more portraits with it. I think it’s perfect for that.

Rob – Thank you for posing, I think you did really well. I think you look great just the way you are there.
Now, Rob, it’s not noise, it’s grain, much more classy than noise. I’m glad someone mentioned it though.
I printed this on 10×8 paper, it’s probably about 7.5×7.5 I was really surprised by it, much, much less grainy than 35mm.

Yes, hopefully more portraits to come…

    Thanks again all.

    Method acting…

Yes Lorraine, this is me pretending to be a photographer… ;)

Actually, if truth be told, this is just me watching Sinead watching me watching Sinead
    in exactly that order…

Lorraine – Thank you very much, very nice of you to say so. I try.
Rob is very laid back, which makes him a good subject, I think.

Rob – lol… yeah, I guess, with perhaps a little bit of bemusment at my crazy looking camera.
