Hi again,
Went back to Roche castle EARLY this morning and shared this view with some curious cows :)

Roche Castle Panorama by PhatMaverick, on FlickrGreat shot, the colours are amazing. Is it a dawn or dusk shot? I’d almost say dusk myself, but I’m only about 52% sure of that :lol:
Cheers Nigel. Its a dawn shot, i’m 51% sure at least, though i was pretty tired. The cows that i cropped out were getting up an crapping over themselves and each other, so thats why i’m the extra 1% sure. Thats a morning thing.
I rarely see dawns these days, I used to years ago, and I never remember seeing purple/red skies like that at dawn, thats why I thought it was a dusk shot. I think it’s definately one for printing big and hanging on the wall
Well……………to be honest…………like all good photo’s they weren’t THAT purple and red. I found that if you keep some words in mind when editing, you get this. Words like: FULL, MAX, RIGHT, 100%, YES, +100, 400%, ALL! etc…
your right phat ! there is nearly always a bit of artistic licence used in pp :-) ..beautiful shot . definitely one for the wall . ill have to make my way up your parts sometime soon for some of that scenery !
Love the colours! I’d crop the sky a bit but that’s my liking. Seems like a very peaceful place, I’d say it was quite a sight to see, well done for getting up EARLY! ;)
