Rollin’ in the Hay

Well, I was rollin’ in the hay today and my shutter fired. :lol: This is what came up with.

Stunning image Ali. Absolutely love the implied simplicity behind it.
Wonderful natural colours, and the 50/50 split works exceptionally
well in this case. Superb focus too; even at this scale I can make out
the shadows being cast by the daisy petals. Cracking image…Rob.

Thanks a million guys and girlie :) I’m just gutted i didn’t have a model with me, it would be a perfect location for some Summer fashion. I’m dying to see how it prints as there’s so much detail in the foreground. Thanks a mil for the comments.

Dara.This shot is a fine lesson on paying attention to the little details. Some of us would have been totally focused on something like a big stone tower in the corner of the field and totally missed this :-)
That is an excellent point Aidan..it’s difficult often to see the things we should.

Thanks a million guys :) I took four shots yesterday, was surprised when I opened this up in Photoshop. Have to agree though – as you get older it’s so easy to miss the little things in life. Had i walked through the field as a child i probably would have made a daisy chain :)
Dara – that’s great to hear. I’ve been stuck for time lately and haven’t had the chance to shoot landscapes and the likes – fingers crossed i’ll get the weather to shoot more.
