A few from Roscommon and Cavan, played in Hyde Park, Sunday 20th April.

Ken don’t know if it is my monitor or not but they look over saturated or something (very technical I know) first one and the last are great shots but I think I would tone the colours down a bit or get me a new monitor.

Yeah, kinda got into the habit of over saturating my sports shots of late, must be just me, but it makes them stand out for me, off camera looked a bit flat.

First one is the pick of the bunch Ken, and I agree with you about the colour… it does make them stand out.
    Great set.

I don’t mind the over-saturation of colour. I think it suits these type of shots very much. I don’t really do much sport photography myself but I enjoy looking through them and there is a photographer that covers most of the Pat’s games and all his shots have a bit of a boost in saturation and I think they work very well. So thi is definitely a technique that I like.

Cracking shots though. Number 2 is the pick of the bunch for me. The concentration on his face is brilliant. Well captured.

Ken was just wondering about the saturation as you say it does make them sit out. Must try it sometime if I can get to any matches this year as I think our championship will last 1 game but then fingers crossed.

Don’t feel too bad Soda, this was Roscommons first win in 12 months.

Some really great sports action shots there.

I would sit the other side of the fence, re saturation. I don’t like over-saturated images. I guess it’s all down to personal taste.
