Hi Paul,

Aren’t flowers amazing things.

The shapes and colours are really nice in this.

The light is nice and even across the frame

I might have used the healing brush on a couple of spots but
that is in no way a criticism of your lovely image.

Thanks lads,
I only got this lens today (canon 100mm f2.8 USM)
Bought it from Unal, a real gent.
Couldn’t wait to get home to give it a go :)
And I’m reasonably pleased with the results I got from it today.

Plan to visit the Fota wildlife park in summer when down in cork direction

Dee if your planning a trip to Fota, allow an hour or so to visit the gardens and Fota house.
If you get a good day weather wise they are worth a visit.

Beautiful colours and composition Paul…

Not the type of image that normally catches my eye, but there is
extraordinary clarity and definition in this one; you can really see
the texture in the petals, and the depth of field is absolutely
perfect to make the most of the shot…

Lovely picture…
