Was blown away by the waves we were getting in Cork over the weekend,
about 15 to 20 feet, so I went down there to take a few pictures, After
taking a few photos of the raging waters i tried using a longer
shutter speed for the sunset and see can i “Tame” or soften the water. I
like the result of the water and also getting in the star in the corner
was cool But i would like to know what others think about it. Its all a learning curve for me so id like to hear what ye think.
Just figured out how to get rid of the click here to enlarge.

nice shot, I was down there myself today, some fairly rough seas, but the surfers loved it.
The shot is a nice 2 sec exposure, just keep an eye on the horizon, it needs a liitle rotation to straighten it up.

I like the idea and the cool colour is nice. It seems you may have had some camera movement? The rocks in the foreground don’t look as sharp as they could be. Then again it could just be my eyes this morning.

It’s nice, I like the tones and the horizontal lines made by the waves and the clouds.

I know you like the star, but I think maybe a square crop would work nicely too.

Did you use any kind of filter? I know someone has mentioned camera movement,
but it could just be the aperture at which your lens was set, that has lost a little sharpness.

I think everyone likes doing fluffy water shots, (for a while anyway) maybe look for a
more simple composition, that bit of head land makes it a little fussy for me, but then,
    I’m kinda fussy anyway.

    Nice though, nice colour.
