    Mmmmm thighs….. (Sigh)

Ehem :) … Welcome to the Forum Daky :) Hope you enjoy it

It looks like a night of great action – The problem I see is that both a cropped off at the bottom. which is a bit of a problem .. IMO you should always aim to have the full figure included in shots like this – unless its a really close shot of the action of expression.

    Thanks Lorriane.

Most of the people I show the photos to are, like myself, too caught up in the action that’s taking place and not the technical aspects of the photos. I see exactly what you are saying about getting the full figure into the shot. As this is not on the frame my best bet here is to crop in closer and focus more on the centre of interest. Something like this perhaps….

As for the thighs, I can’t comment…… but a few friends of mine (all ladies) have liked this shot.

Have to agree about cutting off the legs, my brother plays for shannon and i’ve spent years following his career with my camera, it’s taken me a long time to get used to framing lineouts properly, i was always following the players up with the centre focus point, now i focus on where i think the ball and player are goining to be, frame the shot and resist the temptation to move, well done on the exposure.

The croped first shot looks better.
