Rush Hour on "La Rambla"

Nice picture – like the overall effect created by the blurred car in the background.
Is the guy in the picture one of the Rambla street performers, or is he a ‘normal’ pedestrian ?
ExpresbroParticipantI’ve looked at this a good few times Lorraine and I was wondering how you managed to get the subject frozen like that when he looks to be rushing…and yet the shot is obviously taken with a slow shutter speed?
Then I read the post above..was he one of those “frozen” performers?
Either ways…it’s a bloody cool shot!! :D
LoGillParticipant:lol:
Yup – hes a street sculpture – ;) I’m sure he’s also a normal person though :)

ExpresbroParticipantWell done Lorraine…another few of those and a new lens could be gettin closer :D
AllinthemindParticipantHi Lozza (hehe),
That’s a cracker alright. Don’t suppose you have a wider version of it? I think it would work fabulously as a panoramic type shot.

 Si…. Just looked back to the original again to see if I was overlooking a possibiity on this one (Thanks for that ;) ) No chance of a panoramic on this – there’s just too much street furniture cluttering up the far right of the image , bins, lamposts, trade stalls etc .. and they don’t add to it IMO … so .. might have been on that one I think :)
Thanks all :)

peter1892MemberGreat shot – a mix of static & motion, good subject & a good location too.
EddieParticipantGreat image, capturing movement or motion within a still image is a real winner. if you are reworking the image review the white shop sign over his head, you might want to tone it down a bit. Super.
randomwayMemberThought I would dig up this one… talking about photo opportunities in Barcelona.
