  • Shoot this in a studio with soft box and umbrella light on one of those hot June days we had last week, so the mood was quirky. I hope you can feel it, too :)

Her hand is wrong I think. It either needs to be all in or all out. I would imagine if it’s all in as it currently stands then we might be getting into nipple territory so it has to go as it currently spoils the image as my eye keeps getting drawn to the hand!! The lighting looks spot on in this though.

I don’t think the square crop suits this either and a portrait crop would look better. And finally, :) , her hair on the rhs is too messy and ruins the symmetery with the left!

This is all my opinion of course and I have ZERO experience with portrait photography so take this as you wish! I do know what I likes though!!

    Hi Natalja,

looks like you were both having some fun shooting this.

The hair falling over her left eye does distract a little.

The image is really crystal clear.

The main issue I would have is the size of the image on the page.
I sent you a PM re this.

    Nice one.

    John.

Thanx Ballyman and John for your comments! Appreciated!
Know about hand myself. There is no nipples under the line – not really interested seeing them :) There was a dress though.
Hair is messy, alright, but that was the idea. You guys see it all, don’t ya? :)
We did have fun, indeed, John. My main goal was to get the lighting as good as I could.
I only cropped the image a bit from both sides (and resized), nothing else – no PhotoShop to improve it.
Yeah, don’t know how to post it properly, just did “add image to the post”. It’s my first post here.
    Cheers.

    Hi Natalja,

Lovely image, pity all right about the hand.

Lighting seems to be really good and I would know much about that TBH.

You can post your image I think full size from Imagepost by right clicking on the full image and selecting
the address (URL) and copying it into your thread.

fingers crossed that this works . . .

    **Edit** there we go !!!

so as you write your thread your link should look like this . . . without the spaces in the address !!

Thanx very much, Alan! That looks much better :)
