This is an interesting shot Sancho. I haven’t seen this perspective before, and that’s not easy to say for an over-photographed city like Paris.
I’ m trying to work out if I like the partial colouring or not. I think it works reasonably well but would need to see the full colour, or the full conversion to be sure. I don’t think the line of haze/fog/smog really helps either.
However in general I think it’s a ‘thumb’s up’ from me for composition & perspective.
I really like this shot, I’ve been back to it a couple of times now and I keep getting a wow factor from it.
The greenery in the foreground and blue sky work really well on the gray stonework of the city, and then to really top it off as your eye is drawn into the picture, you’ve got the eiffel tower in the distance … nice!
Dara.
This is amazing! Wow, the contrasting colours work so well. The cherry on top is the Eifel tower in the distance!
Just one question, is that building just behind the farthest out trees meant to be that dark, it’s a little eye catching for me anyway!
Quite strange with the leefs in green and the rest BW. I like it.
I do not understand from you were you could take this picture, I have went to the Sacre Coeur a few timles, though.
