Bring a decent sized bottle of water too… keep yourself hydrated.
I wouldn’t bother hauling out sandwiches n’ all that. Have a good breakfast, maybe a piece of fruit before you leave for the island. The time flies out there, before you know it it’ll be time to head back to the boat. When you get back to the mainland you’ll be just right for something to eat.

PS. Do take care on those cliff edges and act sensibly.
shutterbugParticipantThanks guys, I was leaning toward the 50-500 and yep it is heavy, but
I will probably kick myself if I dont bring it. Have a monopod (not a very
good one) but it will take some of the weight.shutterbugParticipantThanks guys, I was leaning toward the 50-500 and yep it is heavy, but

MickS friend Dave (added)HelenParticipantI would be interested. I had planned on going down myself this week and even rang about booking a place on the boat.
If there is room would be delighted to go – I might have someone else interested as well but will get back on that
Helen
shutterbugParticipantGreat Helen, will book a place for you today, let me know as soon as
you can about another seat as I am sure after this weekend it will
book up!MickSParticipantHi Jenny, a friend of mine (David) would like to come as well next Saturday, If its booked up then thats no problem, he understands. But if there’s any room left in the boat will you book him a place?
Thanks,

Thats great Mick, will ring them later today :)
Thanks Jenny, much appreciated.
HelenParticipantSeaviewParticipantIt’s a bit soon to tell, at the moment they are saying it will be dry but dull with light winds. That could change drastically by the end of the week, you just never know. I would say prepare for the worst and if we get a good day that would be great. :D :D Lets just hope the weather will be good enough for the boat to travel.
Dave.
shutterbugParticipantJust had a quick look at the long range weather forecast,
and it is looking ok, partly cloudy 20% chance of rain light
winds, so fingers crossed :)randomwayMember
