Saltees trip Sunday 20th June (new title)
-
shutterbugParticipant
After my disastrous attempt at a trip to the Saltees last year, with the weather
turning dog on me, I would love to attempt it again this year. I am thinking
the second week in June if anyone is interested? From memory it is about
€25 each (could be wrong about that) If anyone is interested let me know.SeaviewParticipantYou can count me in Jenny, hopefully this year we will get better weather as I was very disappointed last year :( . At the moment I’m fine for the second weekend in June.

shutterbugParticipantThe ChairmanMemberI’d be potentially interested depending on commitments closer to the time…would there be room for me :) ?
JMac-2006Participanti’d be interested – would need to check dates nearer time – where does the boat leave from ?

Kilmore Quay in Wexford, I think around 10.30am and there for most of the day before the boat returns to pick up.
I will start a list if anyone else is interested just add your name, we can firm up on a definite date nearer the time, and see what the weather is going to be doing.
MarkKeymasterJenny,
I won’t be able to make it, pity as the first trip was great.
Might be worth changing the thread title to reflect that the trip is on, eg
PI Trip to Saltees – June , type of thing. Get more attention for it…Cheers
ossie13ParticipantGreen glensParticipantOn a point of interest , is it possible to get close to the birdlife on Saltees? Would a 70-200 lens suffice?
I would love to visit this island. I tried Rathlin but it wasn’t possible to get close enough!…..John.ossie13ParticipantGreen glens wrote:
