Santa Photos!

Anyone out there do Santa photos? As in, being the “official” Santa picture-taker at Santa Grottos at shopping centres and so on? Just wondering what the thoughts of the general photo community was on this; thoughts on pricing, on acceptable quality, on interaction with the kids/parents/Santa himself!
I’m presently doing it at a local business and while I’m enjoying it, there are times when I just feel like telling the kids to cop themselves on and not to be afraid of the Man In Th Red Suit! The photo side of this particular Santa Grotto is being made available to visitors as an optional extra, and they decide just before entering the magical arena whether or not they want one, or two or whatever.
Like I said, most of the time I enjoy it but…
