thats a fine shot in my view, especially considering taken into the sun you’ve managed the contrast of light and shade well….
oconParticipantflynnyParticipantFine shot,
Thats Oia in Santorini.
Was there last july myself,
As you said it’s real picture postcard kind place.
I hopeyou enjoyed it as much as I did.
Did you get any sunset shots??b318ispParticipantoconParticipantthanks Paul,Brendan, was there last Sept.travel company went bust and we got an extra day out there, got a few sunsets they were not all that good there was a mist people said they were better early on in the year
MichellaParticipantOcon, or will I call you Ken? (starting to check the profiles since I realized I could add my own real name)
The most beautiful country I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I completely fell in love with it! I managed to stay at Oia only for one day but I’m hoping to travel back and take a week there at some point. The sunset was pretty average when I made the trip too. But I believe Oia boasts the most amazing lilac sunsets in the world!
Love the pic. I’m just wondering if you managed to get any with a blue sky?
Michelle.
flynnyParticipantWe were fairly lucky with the weather conditions,
The sunset brings hundreds of people out to Oia,
but they all seem to walk away once the sun goes over the horizon,
10 mins later and , this is what you see… http://www.flickr.com/photos/carrig/2701109721/sizes/o/oconParticipantHi Michelle, its a most amazing place, I think i have a few with blue sky not the best though will look them up. would love to go back also it would be very easy to live there. ken
