miki gParticipantGreat set Alan. # 2 would be my favourite even though it’s hard to pick a favourite from these.
tommykelsoMemberTrumanMemberBrickerParticipantLike them all, but 1 & 4 are tops for me.
Re them all, there is a lovely tone to them.
Great to see you back by the way!
Alan RossiterParticipantThanks folks. Nearly broke my a**e twice doing this…I ain’t as young as I used to be.
And yeah, it’s good to get out with the camera with intent again, thanks Des.
MikkaParticipantA great set Alan, you haven’t lost it, it’s just like riding a bike    ……./Mikka
sean fMemberGypsyParticipantI love the snow cone one, the colours are gorgeous and the last one of the main street, makes it look quite mysterious ! Would love to get out early in the morning, might try this week when I can. Haha you nearly breaking your arse. What harm as long as you save the equipment !
redtoMembertommykelsoMemberjust apid yet another visit to these and find them more and more appealing everytime I look. So have to comment again! :)
The shots are very understated and subtle which work superbly!
Just one thing.. I may be sounding a bit thich but what is the meaning of the title Sch-nock-ta??
Alan RossiterParticipantHi Tommy,
Thanks for your interest. Sch-nock-ta is phonetic for the Irish for snow – sneachta. Rather than posting images with snow in the title, which people soon get tired of, I tried to title it differently. More of a way of intrigue.
I try to produce simple images – no complication…they work best for me and I find over complicated images less memorable.
Thanks for all the interest folks.
Alan.
