My first trip to the west of Ireland brought me at Lough Mask. For 5 days we wandered, sailed and canoed around this lake and I’m still very amazed by it’s beauty. Those three pictures are from the first day. If there is interest I can place more… when I’m ready processing.
Thank you for watching…
p.s. the flare and slope of the horizon in #2 are deliberately…
shutterbugParticipantVery nice set Johan, the first being my favourite, very
peaceful and serene with a hint of pink…lovely.SeaviewParticipantThese are very nice, I’m not totally gone on number 2 but that’s a personal opinion, the flare and the slanted horizon don’t do it for me. I think 1 and 3 are just great with 1 being marginally better due to the nice colours.
Dave.
aoluainParticipantWelcome to PI Johan,
I think there are a few other Dutch users here but living in Ireland!
I love 1 & 3.
The exposure control in #1 is great and a very nice composition.
The exposure in # 3 is really good too.
Nice set and I would love to see some images from Holland :) !
Tot Later !!
schoffieMemberthnX 2 all for the replies… really appreciate that!
problem with Dutch pictures is that we don’t have the impressive nature you have. So pictures from Ireland look easily impressive while we have to work very hard in Holland to create such as impressive pictures from a totally flat country without any rocks or real wilderness…
Exposure is controlled by polariser & 0.9ND-grad Lee filter…
aoluainParticipantYes I have been to Holland a few times, and it really is flat.
Very impressive dams and dykes and of course the old windmills
and the great cities for street photography.it is just different.
schoffieMemberDeeboParticipantWelcome to PI and some really strong images.
I think you have the best to last. The last shot id a cracking image, great cool tones and lots of details in the rocks.
Lovely set
deeBroadford1ParticipantschoffieMemberthanks for the compliments!
The last image is a night shot about 1hr after sunset…
