Schools Cup Rugby, Wallace v BRA

My old school, Wallace was playing Belfast Royal Academy this morning. Wallace won the match and there was a reasonable crowd of proud parents, former pupils, retired teachers etc. I could hardly take photographs for people shaking hands and talking about the days when it was me out there in the blue and white stripes….. :lol: :lol:

I have darkened the grass colour in this one, which I think is an improvement?

Ross, Great shots, action well captured. What iso and shutter speed did you use? manual or automatic focus?

These were all at ISO 800 from memory, although the EXIF info might still be in there if you want to check. Focus was on one shot AF – I found that on servo it switched from my subject to something else and I had no control. Shutter speeds were set by the camera as I was shooting in AV mode, mostly wide open (f4) or one step up with a 1.4 converter.Ross
