Scientists Around the Tower

    This is the Eiffel Tower. I only really noticed the names when I examined the photo.

    I was tempted to spend time warping and rotating in order to get the parallels parallel, but decided this was the way I saw it, so left it.

    I hear what ypu’re saying about the revision Pete, and I’d tend to agree-
    absolutely unnecessary in this case-

    This is a probable candidate for a large print;
    it looks like its contains a large amount of small detail and pattern,
    and its good to make the most of that-
    you’re more likely to pass something by if you can’t see it.

    The one element that I find distracting is the signifier for the tower itself-
    the top of the arch at the bottom of the picture-
    Cropping above it would give you one of my favoured 2×1 compositions-
    and might make it a little more of an enigma,
    by making such a recognizable object just a little bit more of a mystery.

    It also gives you the opportunity of printing it 200x400mm on an A4 printer.

    I really like the conversion-

    Thanks for the encouragement JB.

    This is heavily cropped (from a 3000×2000 JPG, unfortunately). I think I will footer about with it and try a print. Good chance to test out that QuadTone RIP you recommended elsewhere.

    Here’s a 100% detail.
