A few shots taken of Scrabo and the Mournes from Scrabo hill in Newtownards, County Down.
shutterbugParticipantI love the second a bit over saturated but a lovely composition, the third is
too overprocessed for my taste but is a fantastic vista.snaphappyMemberagree with Jenny the third is pushed too far but the second is a fine image lovely light and composition the only issue I would have is that there is some kind of halo at the top of the tower from either blending or whatever treatment you applied
sndipoMemberThe second picture was way more interesting than the first one and I was engaged looking at that, then scrolled down and the third one just was “wow”. I like the processing and the ‘fairytaley’ effect it has. Well done from me! :)

As far as the processing on the third shot, I have been known to be a little heavy handed with my HDRs.

It was the HDR processing that generated the halo. I spent a good bit of time trying to remove it but I guess I didn’t do that good a job. :(

Thanks folks for the comments, much appreciated.
vwphotographyMember3 nice photos – may i suggest straigtening the tower in the 2nd one – it is slightly leaning to the right.
