Seals in the wash

I went on a seal viewing trip today, at blakeney in the wash in norfolk. all the shots are from the boat as the beach is a protected area which you cannot land.. Let me know what you think of them.
Yea, and the sea was a little choppy, they were all taken on a canon 30d with a 400L f5.6

The boat was actually quite stable, well it should be it had 50 people in it
although it was fun trying to hold the camera under my waterproof coat and guessing when there was not going to be any splash.
I am going back again next Saturday to have another look
Ahhh Dude, these are so cool. It’s great what you can shoot with a canon from a boat.
Number four with a slightly greater dof would be perfect.
Number five without the tails being cropped would be perfect-er.
Numbers six and seven are perfect enough.

Great shots Steve..especially given the conditions. The last two would be my favourites…for the extra detail if nothing else.
Looks like a worthwhile trip.
