Not sure what to make of this to me honest. If this is a self portrait, then sticking yourself in the corner of the shot seems to run contrary to it. It seems to me to be more about the room – which, with all respect, is what is really is interesting. The condition of the room, the purpose of deckchair, the distorted verticals and your bright image get the mind thinking. There is a real tension in this picture, so, for me, it breaks the rules and therefore works! Well done for posting it.
would have made a good “abandoned” entry in the last round of Photographer of the year. I like it, Its quirky
