i find the large bright area to be distracting and uninteresting.
also the finger coming out from nowhere and putting pressure on the arm are not pleasing to my eyes.I like the lighting on the face however with this composition, your chest takes over and there is nothing there of interest.
It’s a good starting point but will take more than a weekend to master it :)
