Sending camera to Canon

I’m going to send my broken powershot G7 to Canon in Dublin as there is something internally wrong and according to Jessops I should send it away.. Just wondering: do I send the camera on its own or do I include a letter with the details of the problem or do I just put my address on the back and hope they send me a quote?? :?
I’d say let a bit of good old common sense dictate what you do.
If you don’t have any common sense, then include a letter with your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and a description of the problem.
Thanks, i haven’t sent a camera away before .. hence the lack of common sense :lol:
